Centon watch Kiara exit before he turned to Diven. "Is it really that obvious?" He smiled wryly. "Well, seeing as how she doens't like elves I figured I don't have a chance, you know?" He looked almost sad as he turned his gaze to the door. "I don't want her to know... not yet, anyway... not until I'm sure."

"Take it from one who knows, you never know your chances untill you try. And not untill your sure of what?" he asked curiously. Elves were not usualy ones to wear their emotions on their sleaves, and Diven liked to talk to people, even tho they usualy run for the hills when they find his secret.

"True..." Centon sighed. "I guess that I'll tell her tonight..." He toyed with the paint on the wall. "C'mon. I don't want to keep the ladies waiting." He opened the door.
Currently Kiara was playing with Squee, scritching him behind the ears.

Diven smiled, Kiara had a way with people... err.. demons.. er.... yeah. He sat down on the window ledge, glancing out at the city. "Is it always this drab out there?" he asked, looking back to Centon.

The elf peeked out the window. "Actually, this is a rather nice day." He smiled slightly. "Believe me, Diven-san, after living here for so long one knows a good day when they see it."
Kiara giggled as she continued to scritch the purring demon. "Can you see another reason why I stayed away from the cities? Twas strange to an adventurer like me."

Diven nodded, "I can see..."
He remembered the last time he was in a city, many years ago. He just bearly excaped with his life. Why did humans live in fear? He would probably never know.
He eyed the demon and smirked, "Did you find a new pet love?" he asked with a smile.

Kiara giggled. "Just a new friend, ne, Squee?" She continued to scritch him. Looking back up at her mate, Kiara gave him the "come hither look" - meaning she wanted t' cuddle. Squee, of course, was invited. Then again, he wasn't goin' any where. The scritches were just too good t' leave.
Centon smiled at the two cats. He's actually never seen Squee like that before. That could be because the demon was always going after his throat...
A bit later Jessi peeked her head out. "The photos are finished now." She was beaming. "I think these are the best we've done so far."

Diven gave Kiara a quick kiss and stood from where they had been sitting. He walked over to Rotzi and looked at the pictures. "Wow... I really like these. How much do we owe you?"
Diven caught a whiff of the developing chemicals and his nose wrinkled a bit as he supressed a grimmice.

"That depends on how many ya want. They're five gp a pop." Jessi noticed the look on Diven's face. "Oh, sorry. You have a sensitive nose, ne?"
Kiara peeked over Diven's shoulder, her eyes bright. "Wow! These are all spiffy!" The lynxess grinned widely.
Squee whimpered when Kiara had put him down. He was rather enjoying himself for once, forgetting he was a demon.

"Hmm... five each. Well, lets have one of each." He looked over his shoulder to Kiara, "That alright with you?" He thought a moment, "And one of those books... what are they called... an album? Do you have any of those?"

Jessi nodded. "I have those in the storage room. I should have them in this size." The human disappeared again.
Kiara grinned. "These are beautiful." She nuzzled her mate's neck affectionately. "Thank you for coming, love," she whispered.
When Jessi diappeared, Centon sighed. He knew that he was going to have to say something sometime... he just wasn't sure when. Then againk, what did he have to loose?

Diven nuzzled Kiara, he held his mate gently and kissed her softly. "You know I would do anything you asked of me my love," he whispered back.

The photographer returned with the album and a grin. "Here y' go. I'll throw this in for free, loves." She took the photos from Diven and placed them in the album. "And the pages come out, so you can rearrange them."
Kiara nodded at Jessi. "Thank you, Miss!" The lynxess grinned as she handed her the gold. Then she nuzzled Diven once more.

"Thank you very much Miss Rotzi. You have been very kind to us. Would you, Mr. Centon and Squee join us for dinner tonight? This is our first trip to this city, and we don't really know anyone." Diven put on a bright smile and took Kiara's paw in his, giving it a gentle squeeze.

Jessi grinned. "Sure! We know allllllll the good places t' eat around here. Just down the street is the Dead Parrot Inn..." She paused. "But they're currently rebuilding the floor after a goblin incident. Hmm..."
"We could try that one place a bit toward the heart of the city. That one the Gas-light Lodge? Or maybe the Winchester? Both are actually good."
Squee grinned maliciously. "Right next to Andy's Zombi-Romba! Wee-ha!" The demon's eyes lit up brightly. "Let's go!"
Jessi quirked an eyebrow. "You sure to like that arcade, don't ya?" The cat grinned and nodded again. "You have problems, cat."
