Outside the station, a glowing speck quickly grew to a 900 meter metal wedge. This intimidating ship, the Tritoch was a Victory-MkII Star Destroyer. With over 40 turbolasers, 10 Ion Cannons and 10 tractor beam emmiters, it was a sight to make even the most hardened freighter captians double check their smuggling compartments.
The Comm officer on the Tritoch opened a channel to the station. "This is the Imperial Warship Tritoch, requesting permission to dock."
The request was mearly a formality, the ship was already moving towards the stations docking ring. They would complete their buisness one way or another.

The first officer jumped. It wasn't often that capital ships docked here; they usually stayed at governmental bases. If the worst happened, and a fight broke out, it would be a rather suboptimal test of Scylla's weapons systems, and one which would result in heavy damage to the station before it could defeat the warship.
He opened a comm link to Miki: "Chief, you'd better get up to Control. There's a Star Destroyer who wants to dock."
Deactivating the comm, he turned to the others on the control deck. "Where can she dock?"
"Um, 17."
"Good. I want Security there to make sure they don't try anything funny."
The first officer had the channel to the Tritoch reopened. "Welcome to Scylla Station. You are preliminarily cleared to dock at Airlock 17; please approach the lock and await a final clearance to dock."
Having closed the channel, he asked the computer where Miki was. "Morgan's Bar," it replied in its mechanical voice.
"I sure as hell hope the Chief isn't too drunk for this."

Nixx stared out of the bridge viewport at the station before him. "Pathetic, the empire could have built this station in half the time with half the credits and protected it twice as well." He turned to his comm officer, "Do we have clearance yet?" "We have an open port at dock 17, waiting for final clearance." the man said. "Good," he turned to another man, his security officer, "prepare your troops for a level one search, I want scanner teams in that station as soon as we dock. Give your men special instructions, no one is to leave their unit for any reason. If I see a trooper in there allone, I will court martial him personaly." He raised his voice as he began walking down the gangway toward the back of the bridge, "this in not a shore leave gentlemen, in and out, no mistakes or its someones kneck."

Kitra growled to herself, looking around the security door. Did I just hear him say "Star Destroyer?" Kiya, I'm in trouble.
The Miraluka looked around before heading out to the common area. Guess I need to stay in human disguise longer than I thought...

Within moments of being summoned, Miki appears - almost as if by magic - at the dock entrance; the pure, crisp attitude he bears utterly unlike anyone who was just in a bar, and likely more militay and formal than most Imperial officers have ever seen in their lives. When the scanner teams start to disembark, the station chief - still disarmingly boyish despite the crisply military attitude - calmly blocked the exit from the docking terminal.
"Welcome to Scylla, gentlemen. Might I ask what brings an Imperial warship to an independent station like Scylla? And what, perhaps, you intend to do with those scanners?"
Subvocally - barely twitching the muscles in his throat to resonate with his implant - Miki signals the first officer, and trasmits a message. "Warm up the station defenses. These guys may want to cause trouble - tell Maintenance to bring the Warhammer to standby in case we need to explain to the Empire yet again that Scylla isn't a part of their sphere. And see if you can swivel the dock to where collateral damage to the station'll be minimal if worst comes to worst."

Nixx step out from behind a few of the taller troopers, "Thank you for your curtious welcome, and unless I am wrong, you would be in charge of security here. Perhaps it would intrest you to know that nearly a dozen ships outside your station are wanted in several galaxys. I would be more than happy to discuss my intentions here, if you have a place where we can talk in private."

Miki quirks a single eyebrow in a show of bemusement, "I am well aware of the bounties on the ships that are docked at my station, thank you." Miki's blue eyes fail to pick up on the slight smile he gives Nixx. "However, Scylla Station is outside of the boundaries of every nation. As long as they pay their docking fees, abide by the station rules, and leave their rivalries outside of Scylla space, I do not overly concern myself with them."
He pauses, and the smile widens slightly. "However, if you're willing to vouch that your men will abide by Scylla's rules, I'll be perfectly happy to show you to my offices." He eyes the troopers with a slightly dubious air as he continues, "The most important rule, of course, being no slugthrowers or other weapons with the potential to damage the bulkheads or superstructure of the station are permitted on the station. Subsonics, stunners, and other kinds of soft weapons are allowed, of course - and I do trust your men are disciplined enough to avoid making much trouble."

"I have had my men lock their weapons in the stun setting and they have been given strict instruction to not interupt any of your opperations. I shall have them wait here untill our buisness is concluded, if that is satisfactory." He said, putting on his friendliest smile. This had better be worth it, I still don't know why they didn't send a fleet to pound this place to dust five years ago.

Miki's expression relaxes, and he nods. "As long as your men behave, they're welcome to come into the station." The grin flashes again, briefly. "And as for discussion - follow this way, if you would." With that, and a too-easy motion, Miki turns and steps off towards the area he refers to as his office - the zero-gravity sector at the heart of the station.
Behind him, the station's security team wave the troopers past, quietly scanning each one going by - and pulling one or two aside to explain that no, weapons like those, even if official issue, were not permitted off the docking bay.
"Tell me - do you have any of the zero-G ailments?" Very few humans could actively stand true freefall, outside the confines of even microgravity - Miki being one of the few, having arranged his offices into an absolute 'free' zone with no gravitic influence.

On hearing Miki's order, the first officer sprung to action to relay the orders to the rest of the control deck.
"Go to silent yellow alert. Raise the defenses and ready all weapons, including the Warhammer; be ready to fire on the Tritoch on mine or the Chief's command. Swing the docks to give us the best position to minimise damage. And open me up a channel to the entire crew."
Once he had the channel, he continued. "Attention. This is the First Officer speaking; we are currently at yellow alert. There is no current danger, but if hostilities break out, be advised that there are Imperials on the station who would be hostile. Over and out."
The dockmaster advised him of the situation he had to work with. "There's not that much I can do to put the the docks in a good spot; about the only thing I could do to protect us would be to put the Brain that just docked a few hours ago between us and the Tritoch."
"Do it. Make sure we can still hit the warship with the Warhammer, though; one hit should knock most of her systems out and make them nice and friendly."

"No, none at all, my family owns one of the older skyhooks on Corscant, the ones without artifical gravity. I spent most of my youth up there." he said as he followed the security officer.
The storm troopers were working in teams of five, three standing guard and two opperating the scanners. They were swarming the station, bypassing known criminals and overlooking crates of spice and other narcotics. They were searching for something very specific.

Kitra, at the time, was watching the Storm Troopers pass by. ...wonder what the hell they're looking for? She looked like a basic human at the moment, except for the Matrix style shades.

"Good, then." Miki's course weaves deeper into the station, and a smirk forms on his face. "I'm afraid most captains have issues with my office and residence. Something about the lack of gravity disagrees with most people..." With that, he steps through a doorway - and smoothly drifts a few inches off the floor, twisting a few specific muscles to smoothly spin himself in place as he drifts. "Do come in."
Elsewhere, members of the security team quietly follow the Imperials, swapping around with each other and dressed to resemble any other spacers. Fully half of the reason Scylla's security forces were so effective was how hard it was to tell if someone was a part of it or not...

Nixx took a quick glance inside before taking a small step into the room. He pushed off the floor with one foot, rotating his body to push off the wall above the door frame, drifting into the room.
He drew a small data pad from his belt, "I do hope you understand my caution and will not take offence if I scan for abnormal survalence devices." Actualy he would be very suprised if there wern't any, he had installed several cameras and recorders in his own office. He expected anyone worthy of their possesion would do the same.

At first glance, the room seems almost devoid of surveillance equipment - and then, gradually, as the sweeper refines the search, more and more show up - in the strangest locations. Miki smiles, faintly, as the scan progresses. "One of the perks of having a space station, of course, at a major crossroad in the trade routes is the ability to pick up nearly anything - including a great deal of nanotech that most empires seem to have a fear of."
He finally comes up against the wall, and with a twist of his muscles floats there, not bothering with the maglocks on his uniform's shoes. "However, if it will make you feel safer, I can deactivate the majority of them."
