Vacation in the sun and sand

"Umm... yeah," Diven said. He smirked and gave her a playful nudge, "the things humans come up with."

He slung the fish over his shoulder and gave her a quick kiss, "Lets get going. I want to make sure our gettaway isn't already taken."

[Rotzi]

Kiara nodded and followed. "That would kinda suck, ne?"

When they made it to the cavern, she smiled. "It seems to be empty. Tis good." She looked out. The cave was far enough away that when the tide came in they wouldn't be put under.

"I think I'm gonna like this place."

"It needs a bit of work, but it will do nicely."

Diven droped the fish and lobster on the stone floor. "You wanna go find us some firewood while I unpack?" he asked her.

[Rotzi]

Kiara nodded and skipped back onto the beach. It was dark now, and a full moon was rising. Even if there wasn't, she could easily see the drift wood. Since the wood was light she could easily carry a lot of it.

She bought the drift wook back to the cavern, stacking it neatly. "Need anymore?"

He called a chest from the beads, he changed into a loose vest and shorts. He attached a thin leather belt around his wasit. It was much too hot for a robe now.

When she got back, Diven had "unpacked" all of his belongings, he had a large crystal dagger in his paw. He stabbed it into the wall, and the wall melted away, making a small room. He turned back to her.

"That looks like enough. Thanks love." He tucked the dagger into his belt. He stepped over and gave her a quick kiss.

Kiara giggled. "Lookin' good, handsome." She nuzzled him lightly. "Wanna go ahead and start dinner? We can watch the moon rise while we wait."

Diven perpaired the fish and lobster, and they ate in the light of the full moon. After all was eaten, Diven laid back on the dune and stared up at the sky.
"Ever think that there is more out there, so close..." he streached his paw up to the sky, "yet so far away?"

[Rotzi]

Kiara snuggled closely, gently nuzzling his neck. "Yes. I did and I still do." She turned her gaze upward. "It's why I travel, actually."

She sighed as she turned her gaze to the moon. "I keep trying to find myself. I think I may have, but I'm not entirely sure yet."

"You are what you are, when one lookes for themself, its a sign that they dont like what they see in the mirror. Only one person can change what you are, and thats you." He stroked her hair and nuzzled her gently.

[Rotzi]

Kiara purred, kissing him softly. "I've had some help finding myself Diven." She scritched him fondly behind the ears. "I thank you for that."

She curled up closely, purring even louder. "And maybe I was just looking for a place to call home." A smile crossed her face. "I think I've found it."

"You did," he said, placing a finger over his heart, "right here."
He wrapped his arms around her and kissed her deeply. "I wouldn't trade you for the world," he whispered in her ear, then nipped it.

[Rotzi]

"Nor would I," purred Kiara. She wrapped her arms around his shoulders.

Morning came and went. Not really getting any sleep that night for private reasons, Kiara slept in. She rose in the evening, feeling much better.

"Ne, Diven?" She stood up, stretching her back as she did so.

Diven was no where to be seen, he was however about a mile down the beach. He had sliped out of the den early that morning after Kiara went to sleep to make a supprise for her. He had searched the beach and found two gold coins from wrecks long forgotten. With the help of magical flames, he twisted them into two matching rings with a knot of metal tied around a small pearl.

He was jogging back as she woke and heard her call his name as he entered the cove. "Out here love," he called back.

Sleepily the lynxess stumbled out of their winter den, wincing a bit at the light. "Hmm?" Kiara rubbed her eyes lightly.

"How long have y' been up?" Kiara quirked her head. "And where were ya?"

He wraped his arms around the Lynxess, planting a soft kiss on her cheek. "I have been out all day, making something."

He sat her down on a rock and nelt down infront of her. He drew the smaller of the two rings from his pocket and held it out to her, "To symbolise our love." he said. "Gold taken from forgotten lives and joined to make something beautiful." He took the larger ring out and slipped it on his finger, "To make a new life for ourselves, together." He took her paw and slipped the ring on her finger, "Forever, together, joined beyond life and death."
