Vacation in the sun and sand

[Rotzi]

Kiara set her sword down into the sand. "We're finally here, Diven." A smile graced her feline features. "It may have take a while, but we're here." She toed the ground, smiling a bit more. By doing this she found her thought earlier to be correct. It did feel strange with the fur.

"So, whaddya think?" She stretched in the setting sun, enjoying the warmth of it's beams on her fur. The beach wasn't that far away, and there was a reef out there as well.

"Wanna go for a swim?" The coo waters were calling her everytime they lapped at the sandy beach.

With the sun setting on his back, and the dust of many miles of travel heavy on his fur he nodded. "A swim sounds perfect," he said. He pulled his robe off and folded it, siting it on a small rock. He walked to the water, letting the warm waves wet him up to the knee before turning around and waving to her. "Come on!"

Kiara giggled as she slipped out of her vest and stepped out of her pants. "Okies! I'm comin'!"

It took some acceptance of her body to change from a shirt to the lace up vest. Mainly it was due to Diven talking her into it and the increasing temperature.

Folding her clothes, Kiara placed them by Diven's and splashed into the water. It felt good to have the cool water splash against her. At least she didn't hafta worry about the salt stinging her legs like she did when she was human.

Diven lost no time in wading out chest deep in the warm water. It was calm on the coast this time of year, and quite warm. He floated on his back, letting the gentle swells ruffle his fur. He murred softly as the dust and grit slowly washed out of his fur.

"Want some help?" Kiara swam over to him, latching onto his back with her legs. Being careful of his tail she brought herself closer so that she was flush against his back. "I can help you rinse everything off."

She scritched his shoulders. "Hmm?"

He chuckled, "You scratch my back, I'll scratch yours."

He settled down and relaxed, leaning his head back to kiss her cheek.

[Rotzi]

She released Diven and floated in the water behind him. Kiara ran her fingers through his fur on his back, making sure to get out all of the dirt and whatnot from traveling.

"This month did go by fast, didn't it?" Kiara had began to massage the fox's back. It was knotted, more than likely from how they slept.

Or maybe the lack there of some nights... she thought with a blush. Kiara shook the thoughts from her mind and focused on massaging her fox's back once more.

Diven murred happly as her massage slowly worked the kinks in his muscles out.

"I think I saw a cave in the cove that could serve as a den for us here." He gasp as she hit a particulary sore spot, "I don't I was ment to travel this far at one time." He groaned as the muscle loosened.

Kiara shrugged, settling herself on his back once more. "I'm used to this sort of thing." She stretched her arms then laced it around Diven's neck.

"'m tired... wanna carry me?"

Diven chuckled, "But if I do that, how can I catch dinner?" He turned and held her gently against his chest. "If you think you can get back, I think will try to find us some lobsters." He gave her a gentle kiss and rubbed her ears lightly.

[Rotzi]

Kiara pouted, then nipped his ear. "Okay. I'll wait for you." She left Diven after giving him a quick kiss.

Once on the shore she dressed. However she found the sand to be quick comfortable. "Mmm..." Instead of going to the cave Kiara curled up on the sands, deciding to take her cat nap there.

Diven dove in the water, looking in cracks and crevises in the rocks and corals. He spent a good ten minutes before he found what he was looking for. A large lobster, the southern varity. Being clawless, they were much easier to catch. He snatched it out of its hole and on his way back up, fired a magic lance at a decent sized fish. He carred both out of the water.

He smirked at Kiara, curled up on the sand with a small crab sitting on her, looking like he was claming a new mountian for himself. Diven toed the crab away and nudged Kiara with the fish. "Wakie wakie sleepy kitty," he chimed.

Kiara stirred, slowly opening her eyes.... to see a fish. Her eyebrows show up and her emerald orbs widened in shock. "FortheloveofJaysusHChristonabloodyfuckingPOGOSTICK!!" She had jumped back a few feet and backed away even more breathing rather heavily.

It took her a few seconds, but she finally noticed it was a fish and not something that would hurt her. "Diven...." she growled playfully. "Why did you do that just now?" Kiara giggled, a smirk playing on her face.

"Are we gonna eat at the new den?"

Diven quirked an eyebrow at her, "Whats a pogo stick."

((Just had to, its required that I be a total smart ass once a day, and time is running out.))

[Rotzi]

Kiara blinked. "You... don't know what a pogo stick is?" She looked up in the air, trying to figure out a way to describe it.

"Hmm..." She rose from her spot and began to lead him to their winter "home." "It's a stick with a spring like thingy on the end of it, and there are places to the side on the bottom of it for your feet, and handle bars."

To help with the picturing process, Kiara drew a picture of it in the sand with a stick figure on it. Deciding to goof off a bit, she added two cat-like ears to the figure as well as a tail bob similar to hers.
