As you may notice, there are a few rather vague I might add, settings posted in The Plane's section. These are just to get you started. Soo....everybody asks, what if where I wanna play isn't there?
simple: PM me and I'll make that plane for you! With the "established" areas, evolution is going to happen! So it says Civilization. You can create who new city threads in there...want to play in post apoc PIttsburgh? Create it. New threads are you friends, just as long as you keep up with them.
About the Scifi and Fantasy settings: Yes, you can cross over. Just because you have an elven wizard does not mean you're stuck in Tolken land. As long as you can give a REASON why, you can go anywhere! Just y'know...no godmodding other characters. THat's what your own NPCs are for.
At the moment we just have the primordial soup of an rpg community, what happens, what it evolves into, is up to you. THe players. So we'll see what happens...

How the Planes work (as if there was an actual how to it....)
In each area I've started a building or area description. That's just one place to rpg and cause hell until you create your own places (in other threads in that area). you gotta start with something!
So you don't have to hang out in the places the GM has provided, create your own! That's the point, that more than one person create worlds and describe them. Even in a GM created area, what you see, smell, feel, hear, and taste will be different from somebody elses. So what if the GM said that the bar had pink walls...it could look yellow to your character!
All you have to do is describe your new area a little in your first post of a new thread (so other people who visit get a little feeling where they are sort of) and then you can expand on it later.
