Woodlands Ho!

[Rotzi]

Well.. it's not like I have to be anywhere... and he's not that bad.... Kiara wondered outside to think, her apple forgotten in her hand.

Outside she watched the sky, pondering on what to do. It's not like it was that major of a decision... just where she would probably be living for a while. No biggie at all.

[DivenWest]

Diven turned and saw her walk out, probably forever he thought. Saddened by this, he walked back into his sleeping room and curled up into a ball in the pillows.

[Rotzi]

An hour later Kiara came back in, her mind made up. She'd stay. There was no where she was going and there was no one waiting for her.

"Diven?" She looked around for the fox. "Where'd he go?" she asked herself softly.

[DivenWest]

Diven heard her call his name, he slowly stood, pawing at the fur under his eyes, tho the tears had long since dried the fur was still matted down. He quickly gave up on it and steped out. "Here I am," he said meekly.

[Rotzi]

Kiara smiled at him. "I've decided. I'll stay." The adventuress eyed him, her eyes frowning. "Are you ok?" She stepped closer to him, her green eyes laced with worry.

He was elated that she would stay, he was unable to stop himself from giving her a hug. A deep yet soft rumble came from deep in his throat, making a murring sound.
"I am so glad you decided to stay," he said, the tears welling up again, but not out of sadness this time.

[Rotzi]

She blinked and slowly hugged back. A smile graced her features as she patted him on the back. "There there. You'll be fine."

I thought they were always sociable creatures. Being out here alone must have been killing him inside.

[DivenWest]

He slowly relised her, pawing at his eyes again, "Sorry... I just.... haven't had a friend in so long."

Diven gave a little laugh, "Look at me, how foolish." He shook his head a bit and chuckled, "Thank you..."

[Rotzi]

"I kind of figured so." Kiara smiled warmly at him. "And you're not foolish. It makes sense, if you ask me."
She looked at his ears and scritched them. "Your kind is sociable." She took her hands away, and apologized.

[DivenWest]

He was suprised when she reached for his ears, but closed his eyes as she scratched them. When the hand went away, he opened his eyes and looked at her, "Why did you stop?"

[Rotzi]

"Well... no reason, actually," she answered. "I just wasn't too sure as to how you'd react..." Kiara smiled shyly.
"That and, well, I'm still tired. Do you mind if I go back to sleep?"

[DivenWest]

"Mind? no, as a matter of fact, I will join you, you get up much too early," he said with a smile, holding the curtian back for her.

[Rotzi]

"Force of habit," she yawned. Once she had crawled in and layed down, Kiara smiled at him. A few moments later she curled up, but didn't fall asleep immediately.

He follows her, snugling down beside her like he did the previous night, instinctualy draping an arm over her.

Kiara blushed slightly. It had been a while since she had been held. I made the right decision... was her last thought before sleep overcame her.
