Meeting

"I hope so," he said, "I find it hard to sleep any other way." He let the curtin fall back in place and flopped down on the pillows and curled up.

[Rotzi]

Kiara took off her boots and slipped them into her bag. Before she slipped them in she grabbed a thin blanket from it. It was more for comfort than for warmth, tho. She laid down so she was a comfortable distance from the fox.

"Mm... feel much better than they look," she murmured, her voice already rough with sleep. "G'night."

The fox rolled over and snuggled up to her, "Mmmhmm, good night..."

[Rotzi]

Kiara stiffened slightly. She felt her face grow a little hot since this was the first contact she had gotten from another person. Gradually she relaxed after telling herself that this was probably what he did with others of his kind.

And I'm probably the first person he's seen in a long time... she thought. No need to push him away. He is warm...

The fox smiled and wrapped an arm around her as he shut his eyes, "Mmm, so nice tohave a warm body to sleep with..."

She felt her blush grow hotter. If I didn't know better I'd say he was doin' this on purpose... Her eyes shut and allowed herself to snuggle back. Not long after her eyes slid shut and she drifted off to sleep.

The next morning, the fox got up before Kiara, and he went back into the main roon to cook breakfast. He hoped that the smell of bacon and eggs would wake her.

And wake her it did. She inhaled deeply as she rose from the bed of pillows. She smiled before she knew it. The girl cracked her back out of habit before coming out. Kiara hadn't even bothered to put on her shoes as she padded onto the cool stone floor. "Something smells good," she murmured.

"Good," the fox said with a smile, "I hope your hungery." He already had several plates of food ready to eat and several bottles of juice out.

[Rotzi]

"Keep treatin' me like this and you'll never get me t' leave," she joked as she sat down at the table. She helped herself to a bottle of juice. "Not often someone's this nice, you know?"

"And I wouldn't mind keeping you around," he said. "Your very nice," and cute too...

[Rotzi]

"You ask people that come over to stay for a while often?" She looked amused as she finished off her juice. The girl actually thought about that offer. It could be a nice way to avoid traveling over the cooler months...

"No, not ever," he said, "Most rub me the wrong way, they are too.... human." He smiled as he finished off his breakfast, "So, want to stay for a while?"

[Rotzi]

Kiara leaned back in the chair to stare at the glowing stuff on the ceiling. It was a very tempting offer. There'd be food, company, and shelter from winter which was less than a month away from officially starting. "I'll stay until the winter months are over and as long as you'll allow me to help out around here. I really do owe you one, Diven." Her eyes had returned to the fox. "That sound alright to you?"
