Well here goes! My first character! Wooowhooo!

Species: Human but most likely genetically altered by the “grey” aliens.
Gender: Male

Character Class: professor

Alignment: neutral

How I view the world: A system of systems in balance but chaotic that’s based on forces of science-magic. Evil and good are just faces of the same coin, if they even exist at all – Mmm… maybe I’ll run an experimental test on them one day…

Physical Appearance: Weight: 130 lbs. Height: 5' 9" Skin: Pale Eyes: Blue-Grey Hair: Grey. Outfit: Neutral colored long coat that could pass as lab coat or is it a wizard cloak? Whatever it is it has a lot of pockets some hidden some not so hidden all of them full of stuff.

Likes and Dislikes: Loves to probe how things work, asking questions, and looking for understanding. Has no patience with close minded beings. (Unless they are part of his experiments…)

Quirks and Faults: Loves to drink… and can get out of hand… An unreasonable fear of heights and of bees (some childhood trauma or something) either of which will cause him to act irrationally. Tends to wonder off from a group if not watched

Powers/abilities: Unique ability to understand the workings of a system, technology, or artifact whether it’s based on science or magic.

History in a nutshell: Go ask the greys... But he does have a familiar/computer in the form of a ball of light that can answer questions and sometimes provide useful or not so useful information.

Mulligan: When faced with some new technology, magic, ancient wonder, Remington will stop and explore, experiment, probe, study, etc. No matter what’s happening. Curiosity killed the cat and Professor Remington wants to find out WHY!

Mmm... After sleeping on this I may have made a mistake by combining science and magic beliefs in the same character. Maybe it’ll be better (funny, tragic) if Remington always tries to explain magic in scientific terms.

For example...

Oh…so you’re going to turn me into a frog? Oh sure you are. You would need a demolecularizater, a genetic deprogrammer/reprogrammer and a matter reconstructer to do that and frankly I don’t see all that high-tech equipment fitting into that little wand of yours….

Character type: A NPC of Professor Remington
Species: Nano-Computer
Gender: neutral
Character Class: Computer
Alignment: neutral
How I view the world: Logically based on science

Physical Appearance: A floating glowing sphere about the size of a grapefruit. IT can change colors to convey emotions.

Likes and Dislikes: It process only rudimentary emotional attachments. Emotions are for the illogical flesh units. IT has an attachment to Professor Remington but it would never admit to that.

Quirks and Faults: Situations are viewed as binary and this can lead to irresolvable paradoxes.

Powers/abilities: Records the events around it, gives helpful advice to the professor, levitation, can provide choices to situations and likely outcomes, can quickly calculate the odds of outcomes, and processes a variable electrical shock as a defense.

History in a nutshell: No one really knows but it is rumored that IT came from the Space Needle, a legendary star ship built by the Ancients. Currently the Space Needle ship is lost somewhere in Blank Space.

Mulligan: IT has built in EM protection but a high enough EM pulse will place IT into a hibernation state.
