Player:TheSalmonWhisperer
Character Name:Leanon Gilleandrais
Character type:Fantasy/Steampunk
Species: elf
Gender: Female
Character Class: Travelling bard
Alignment: Chaotic neutral
How I view the world: Life is an empty stage, existing only to be filled with bitter sweet melodies…..And twitching, never forget the twitching.
Physical Appearance: A strange, tall looking individual (6’5), a face made pale with both lack of sunlight and makeup, an avid violin player(Long straad) creating images with her music, a long flowing robe full of colour and vivid imagery hides most of her frail form from view, she prefers to stay away from social situations, straying away from bars to play her music out in the open, where others can dance to it freely.
She ‘lives’ only for music and art, rarely keeping any close friends for long
Likes and Dislikes:Leanon loves the finer things in life, before she died she had access to a fair amount of gold, which she did hasten to spend on finery, although now she does not have such riches she has ways of getting what she desires, whether it be through music or sheer charm and wit, perhaps even fear at times.
Quirks and Faults: Leanon dislikes fighting, preferring the soothing sadness of music, this tends to cause unintentional emotional pain to others.
Attacks are unpredictable as her songs are made from sheer emotion and she is unable to remember or recreate past songs, because music is her weapon this affects her strength and ability.
Leanon is dependant upon her violin, it is always within her grasp or hidden away from view inside her flowing robes, if another touches the violin it may result in them having to deal with Leanon’s teeth clamped firmly on their arm or any body part within reach.
She cannot perform unless she has bitten her tongue eight times either purposefully or by accident, she believes it’s lucky.
She also has a floating salmon which follows her for reasons unknown, even to herself, it has a habit of getting in the way at crucial moments.
Powers/abilities: Leanon uses her violin as a weapon, if she creates the exact right tone and pitch she can cast powerful spells and summons, but if performed incorrectly the results are unpredictable.
For higher level spells Leanon has to play for an extended amount of time.
…She can also do interesting things with a salmon…0_<;
History in a nutshell:Leanon once walked the streets of her home town R’adnaire, her music was loved by all although it sometimes caused great pain to those with darker pasts, she was happy until one day she made light of the kings jester resulting in a argument between her and the fool, in turn he spread lies and rumours saying her music was ‘Demonic’ and was the reason that so much famine had come to the village recently. Leanon paid no heed, thinking the king would take no notice of a fool, but unfortunately that was not the case, for he was a scarily paranoid man, he promptly sent soldiers after Leanon.
She fled, the mercenaries firing arrow after arrow, the first one struck, yet she managed to carry on running, then a second struck and a third, yet still Leanon did not bleed or fall to the dusty, rough ground, she soon came across a cave in which she hid for some time, soon news reached her…..Fearful news. News of her own death.
For you see, she had died when the first arrow hit.
Strangely, she is not filled with grief over her death, as long as she can continue her music.
Yet none of this explains the floating salmon which follows her everywhere..0_0
