Woodlands Ho!

He nodded, unlacing the top and pulling it off. He placed it on the bank next to her pants, retreving the sweetsand while he was there. He took a paw full and wet it. He began rubbing it through his fur, keeping one eye on Kiara incase she fell again.
He soon washed himself and just sat on a rock watching her. She was so beautiful...

Kiara turned to face Diven, a small smile on her face. "You're fun..." was all she said before she passed out. Luckily for her, tho. She didn't go under the water. The girl just slumped against the bank.

Diven sighed, he rejected the first few thoughts that came through his head and lifted himself out of the water. He shook off and donned his robe again.
He lifted her out of the water with a strength that was suprising for his size. He scooped her clothes up and carried her back to the den. He laid her down infront of the fire to dry off and did the same with her clothes.
He sat across the fire from her, feeling a warmth coming from one of his hidden pockets. He withdrew a small book, voices echoing in his head.

Diven felt compelled to open the book again, he knew it was the cause of all his troubles... yet he couldn't resist in his current state. His hand moved on its own, to a page that, like all the others, was written in blood. He knew the words with out thinking, he began the incantation...

Sotar... Molan... Saros..."[/glow]
As he chanted, over and over again, her body began to spasm as she changed...

Kiara eyes opened the moment she heard Diven begin chanting. Before she knew what was happening her body was overtaken by pain. Her bones began to shift and change, completely and totally.

Tears came from her eyes and she screamed in pain. Though she tried to move the human found she couldn't. Bones shifting.. growing where there were none to begin with. Along with her bones grew the muscles. While the fur growing didn't bother her as much, it was a strange sensation. As were her teeth.

Once the transformation was down, she had curled into a small ball of fur in front of the fire. She could hear things much more clearly than she could before, and the smells...!

"What..." she paused, surprised at her own voice being hoarse and weak, most likely from the screaming. "What have you done to me...?"

She was looking at her hands... paws. "I'm.... what did you do?" Kiara's voice was fragile. Just as fragile as she was right now. Tears were on the verge of spilling down her face, er, muzzle.

Diven looked at her, a stunned expression on his face, then down at the book. He dropped it and backed away, tripping over a stool.
"By the gods... what have I done," he exclamed, his head suddenly clearing.
He crawled to her side and wrapped his arms around her, "I am so sorry... I don't know what came over me..."

He heard a crule laughter echoing inside his head. He forced it away as his tears spilled out. "Please... I'm sorry..."

Kiara stiffened when he touched her, but didn't move away. Truth be told, she was much to sore to move anymore. Instead she just kept crying. This went on until there were no more tears left. Only a half clothed lynx humanoid curled up tightly being held by Diven.

Diven held her, he could smell her fear, and he bet she could smell his. "Kiara, please forgive me..." he whipered.
The laughter returned and he stood up clutching his head. "Go away!" he screamed, his eyes clenched tight. He collapsed as the laughter faded. He looked over to Kiara, a pleading look in his eyes.

The lynxess looked up at the fox. "What.. what happened? Just... tell me what happened..." She looked at her paws, the turned her gaze to Diven.

"It.. was it them?" Her eyes were soft as she watched him. By looking into them it was obvious that she forgave him, not holding it to him if they were to blame.

[DivenWest]

He nodded, "It was an enchantment... it releases a persons spirit to shape their body. This is what you really are, inside."
He picked the book back up, still opened to the page of the incatation. "I can't read this script, only they can. I am so sorry, there is nothing I can do." He shoved the book back in its place, rather roughly. "I can't begin to tell you how sorry I am... I never should have..." his voice trailed off as memories resurfaced, his tears welling up again. "Please... no more..." he whined, burying his head into his knees.

[Rotzi]

Kiara sniffed the air a bit, confused at the new smells. She then crawled over to Diven and wrapped her arms around him.

"I'm no longer human... but I don't blame you." She lightly scritched him behind the ears as she tried to comfort him.

"Just... help me understand this body, please?" Kiara rested her head on his back.

He raised his head, forcing the memories away. "I don't know what to say, all I can do is answer your questions. I have had this form all my life, I know it is different from what you know, but I don't know how different."
He returned the scritch, trying to calm himself as well as her.

Kiara blushed under her fur. Her eyes closed and she purred softly. "I don't know..." She curled up, using his chest as a pillow. "Anything I guess... something... I smell so many different things right now... and everything is so loud." She looked up at him through her bangs. "The vision I can get used to easily.... but how do I get used to everything else?"

"You will, in time," he spoke softly to her.

He gently stroked her face, "I will help you, it is the least I can do for doing this to you." He gave her a gentle hug, lightly rubbing the back of her head.

Kiara smiled, this time her eyes closing completely. "I thank you," she replied sleepily. "Time is all I need right now... that and s'eep..."

She looked back up at him. "Is that okay with you?"

Diven nodded, and stood, gently pulling her up. "Yes, I think sleep would be the best thing for both of us right now." He looked over her body, perfect, "And you may feel more comfortable with your clothes on, but normal human clothes do nasty things to fur... would you like to borrow a robe?"
