Woodlands Ho!

[Rotzi]

"A spring?" Kiara smiled and rubbed his paw. "Sounds great. Wanna take me there? I may venture here and there, but I get lost easily."

She looked back at him and frowned. "You okay?" You look like someone just died...

Diven nodded, "Yeah, I'm fine. I will show you the spring." He stood and held his paw out for her.

[Rotzi]

Kiara gladly accepted the paw. "Thanks!" She took a moment to stretch her back, smiling to herself when she heard it crack.

"Sorry 'bout that." She popped her shoulders as well. "I just get really stiff after lying down." Her knees followed. "Hurts like hell if I don't do it, tho."

She lead him out of the den, humming softly to herself.

Diven followed her out and led her through the woods a short way into a clearing that was almost totaly covered by the cannopy. The late afternoon sun shone through the small opening in the leaves onto a steaming spring.
"The water constently circulates from deep inside the earth, so its always clean."
He removed a small bag from a hollow stump and handed it to her, "Sweetsand, as good as soap and better smelling too." He opened the bag and showed her the pale pink sand. He also gave her a rough towel woven from some unknown fiber before leaving her to her bath.

Kiara waited until Diven was gone until she unlaced her tank. A few snaps and zips later she was out of her pants, and the rest of her clothing followed suit...

Slipping into the warm water she almost purred. Taking the sweetsand she scrubbed herself and rinsed off. That was when she decided to stay in the water for a bit longer. Kiara went under washing her hair as well.

About an hour later the adventuress reluctantly left the bath. After dressing she walked back to the den, feeling much, much better. And cleaner.

"Diven?" She peeked her head in the den. Immediately she noted the smell in the air. It took just about every ounce of will power she had not to go and help herself.

Diven stepped out of yet another room blocked by a grey curtian carying several bottles. He had already set out some rough stone plates and some very well used flatware around the fire.
"Hello there, you look refreshed," Diven said to her, digging the muscles out of the ashes with a blunt knife.
The catfish was blackened, its skin recently cracked open. Diven sat the bottles down between the plates, "Please, help yourself."

Kiara grinned like the cheshire cat. "Don't mind if I do. Want me to dish you up some too?"

She smiled kindly at him. She definately was much more refreshed than she was earlier. Maybe that's what she needed, the bath that is.

And something else good, too! She smiled up at Diven. Make that two things. Good food and good company.

She dished herself up a generous helping and then did the same with Diven's plate.

Diven smiled and placed several of the muscles on each plate, then pulled the corks out of two of the bottles.
"This is something special, Blackberry wine, over a hundered years old. It came from a very old kingdom called Caldain," he said handing her one of the small bottles.
He took a sip from his bottle, letting the warming sensation trickle down his throat. He picked up a piece of the fish and popped it in his mouth. He chewed for a moment, "Not my best, but one of the better ones," he said to noone in particular.

"Wine, ne?" Kiara sniffed it a bit. "I've never had it before..." She set the bottle aside for now and began to eat the catfish.

"Believe me, after only eating what you could find and make within a few minutes, this is like Yule." Kiara smiled a bit. "I think those were the only good memories I had of being with my family..."

A bit of nostalgia passed through her eyes, then possibly.... was it regret? "Oh well. That's the past. Nothing good comes from looking back at it..."

After a moment she took a swig from the bottle. "It's..." she blinked, obviously not used to any sort of wine. "Definately different..." She sipped at it this time. "I... think I can get used to this... it's not that bad, actually..."

"Be careful," he chuckled, "It will go to your head before ya know it." He plucked the meat out of one of the muscles, chewing on it thouhtfuly.
"I offered to teach you some of my magic didn't I?" he mused. "Still wanna learn?"

Kiara giggled. She apparently has no head for alcohol of any kind. "Woo. Magick." She sipped the wine again, licking it from her lips. "Sounds fun."

She finished off the rest of her meal, complimenting Diven when she finished. "An' dish wine... ish good..."

Diven was full, and had also drunk slightly more than he should have. "Yes, it is... and I think we have had enough... expecialy you..." He took the bottle from her and, on the second attempt, corked it. He returned the bottles to the other room and returned.
"I am gonna go bathe, you are welcome to go on to sleep, or you can come with me if you wish." He mentaly slapped himself for saying that, hopeing she was distracted enought to ignore it or even forget it altogether.

Kiara snickered. "Bath ish goooood...." She stood up, wobbling a bit. She grabbed onto Diven to stead herself. "Bath goood... let's take a baf..."

The human continued to stagger around drunkenly the entire way to the spring. As she tried to undress again she fell into the water.

"...muck..."

Diven slipped his robe off and quickly slipped into the spring. He graped her arm and held her steady, "Do you want some help?" he asked.
He shook his head, perhaps it was the wine, or perhaps the moonlight, but she was even more beautiful than she had been earlier.

The human giggled as she pulled at the laces on her shirt. She failed a few times before looking at the fox. "Help me?" Kiara was referring to the tank. Being tight it was hard to get out of if one were as drunk as she was.

Before she waited for him to respond, she tossed her pants on the bank.
