By the time Kiara had reawoken the storm had left. "Mmmrrr?" She was laying in Diven's arms, being held comfortably tight.
Nuzzling Diven, she spoke softly. "Hey, wake up. The storm's over with."

He opened his eyes and smiled at her. "So it seems."
He held her gently, making no move to get up. He nuzzled her and softly licked her face. He kissed her cheek and looked into her eyes, smiling.

Kiara felt her face heat up again. "D-Diven?" She was feeling butterflies in her stomach.
She knew what it was. She may have only experienced it this one time, but she knew. "Diven..." Kiara put her lips to his, kissing him.

He kissed her deeply, letting his eyes close. He let his paws trace lines down her spine, then back up again.
He didn't want to push her, so he waited, letting her decide if she wanted to make the next move. He murred lightly at her, stroking the back of her head.

Kiara moaned softly, trying her best to contain herself. She tightened her hold on him, pulling him close to her.
The long passionate kiss left Kiara with her head spinning as she backed out gently. Her forehead rested on his, and her muzzle against his.
"Thank you." She nuzzled his cheek, smiling softly. While she knew that her body craved more, Kiara also realized that they had quite a journey ahead of them. They didn't need to do anything that would, er... over exert them.

"Anything for you, my sweet," he whispered, gently rubbing her back. His ears twiched a bit, he was as nervious as she was.
He murred gently and nuzzled her back.

Kiara felt her heart beat quicken. She leaned over him, knowing full well what she was doing, but didn't care anymore. All she could do was sense that they both wanted it....
That night she was relaxing in hot springs, cuddling with Diven. She felt so much better after that. "Thank you," she whispered to him as she traced random designs on his fur.

He held her close, letting his paw rub her leg. He smiled and nuzzled her, "No, thank you."
He leaned over and kissed her cheek, "Was it what you expected? You don't hafta answer if you don't want. I know it is a lightly spoken subject for a human mindset."
He drew his fingers through her hair, letting his fingers massage her scalp.

"I was actually expecting a lot of pain." She nuzzled his neck. "Thank you for making it easy for me." She leaned toward his paw.
She sighed happily, then turned her eyes to the sky, watching the stars twinkling. "Funny," she murmured, how it's so calm after the storm." Nuzzling his chest, she continued. "I think the storm represented something. It was the turmoil I felt when I wasn't sure of myself. An now I know what it is I felt."

He nodded, "I have been through many storms of my own, they don't always turn out so clear in the end."
He gazed at her and smiled. "I love you Kiara," he murred, "I will never leave you."

Kiara closed her eyes and snuggled closely. "Love you, too, Diven." She kissed him on the cheek. "Love you, too."
The night came and went with much more fun and much needed rest. Instead of waking up at dawn, Kiara woke mid-morning and dressed. She did her routine stretches, this time without falling flat on her face.
"Diven?" She peeked into the sleeping room. After seeing him not move, the lynxess crept over to the sleeping form. "Diiiiiven..." she murmured with a smirk. Kiara sat on his stomach, leaning over him a bit.

He let his eyes creep open and quickly rolled over, pinning her against the pillows. "Good morning," he said with a smile and a laugh. He licked her face and chuckled as he nuzzled her.

Kiara giggled. "Hey you... I didn't think foxxies played possum." She nuzzled him in return. "Sleep well, hon?"
Without waiting for an answer, she slipped out from under him easily. "C'mon!" She was hyper, teeming with the excitement of leaving. "This is gonna be so much fun!" Kiara giggled, tugging at his paw.

He got up and smiled at her. He spent several minutes searching for his robe among the pillows before giving up and taking a fresh one from his trunk. He took his strand of beads from his ankle and "packed" the pillows and trunks before reattaching it to his ankle.
He waved his hand and called a fresh breeze to blow throught the den. "Comeon," he said looking over his shoulder at her, "The wind calls."

"It's been calling for a long time." Kiara grabbed her sword that had been sitting by the entrance to the den. She placed it in the straps she had designed for it as they exitted their den.
"Now... which way are we heading? My sense of direction sucks sometimes..."
