Meh. Men suck.. most men, anyway. The guys in this thread seem really nice. As far as I can tell. Can anyone stick up for the guys in real life?

Men are like rubberbands, women are like waves. Riiiight. Doesn't make me feel anybetter >.<
Can't live with 'em, and I'm too stupid to live without 'em. Wish I didn't dislike women so much or I'd be majorly lez by now.
<---Otsel has been having a very hard time.....

Maybe I make too big a deal about seeing me, I don't know. If someone loves you they should at least TRY and make an effort... at least that's how it is in my clan

Can anyone stick up for the guys in real life? Depends on what sucks about them. If it's the Y chromosome, then there's not much any guy can do about it. If it's something else, though, then men are as varied as women. For both, there are some good ones and some bad ones.

No you're not! Don't think like that. He's the jerk. He's not making the effort, it seems like.

...Personally, I'd point out that if a relationship has one person not putting forth any effort, it's not exactly healthy. I've usually ended up on the giving-but-not-recieving side, in the (very) few relationships I've had.
I'm loyal to a fault, but I don't appreciate when my existence only seems to be of importance if it doesn't require effort...

has anyone told you you're a great guy?
..and what would you say to someone who calls you long distance only to bitch about the things that you do that piss them off, and make you feel like shit?
That's what happened with my ex-ex. ...I'm still trying to figure out what I seen in him. He's an extreme manipulator... that must be tortured.

I hate it when people only want to see me if they don't have to work at it. God it pisses me off!! My last ex only lived an hour away and refused to drive that far to see me....even tho' he had lots of free time and money. Bastard! Probably a good thing since he was cheating on me with four other girls, two of which he was engaged too...but why'd he have to dump me infront of my family and the newpaper at my last art show >.<;;

He... has problems. Roach is soooo lucky I didn't see him at SheVaCon. I would have pulled a Viv on him.

...Personally, I'd like to exterminate vermin like those two. In practice... Meh. Not much that can be done, particularly without violating my own code of honor, since I don't stoop to gossip and rumors.
As it is... I know my flaws. I'm a touch overprotective, loyal to a point of being a bit jealous, and when it comes to a lot of common things... I'm oblivious. I'm one of those sods who can 'do something wrong' and never have a clue about it.
Which is how one relationship blew up... It didn't help that I got the "If you don't know, I'm not going to tell you." line from her...

^.^ Honto! Want a down payment? >.>... <.<... ^.^;; eheh.. I didn't say that. You seen nothing.
Yeah, I hate it when people do the "If you don't know then I'm not telling you" bit. It's annoying and serves no real point other to make the other feel insignificant. This was a favorite of Bryan's. ...must resist urge to torture certain parts of him with a wooden spork...

...Down payment?
*shifty*
But yeah, it serves only to make others feel inferior. Which annoys me, because it's a transparent ploy - enough that even someone oblivious can see it.
She topped that one, though... "Prove that you know me."
I hate ultimatums like that. I really do...
