"I did. Sorry for falling asleep..." Sijji looked around, amazed at Lugh's work. Seeing how beautiful it was to create something, she could understand why he didn't like the Destroyers.
Then she noticed the packs. "You're leaving?"

"Oh, yes! You did want to be guided through the Underground, yes? So of course one needs supplies and such, if for no reason other than to look the part, yes, yes." Lugh smiles, admiring his handiwork in the cave again, before returning his attention to Sijji. "I've taken care to make sure we have food and drink suited for your biology, mm-hmm, yes."

"Thank you." Sijji looked at the supplies. "You're kind, you know?" She stretched, cracking her spine neatly back into place. When she stood she noticed her daggers and replaced them in her hair, this time making sure that the tie was secure.

"Oh, me? Kind? For this? Hardly, oh, no, not at all. I hardly have anything else to engage me, oh my no." Lugh grins and hops to his feet once again. "My, my, this place will do wonderfully now that I've finally finished adjusting it, oh yes, yes..."

Sijji quirked an eyebrow, then smiled. "Okay." She moved to one of the packs, hoisting it onto her shoulders.
"Shall we go?" Her smile was enthusiastic. Then again, it was never meant for bamboo to stay underground long. Being a half-bamboo-spirit, she decided that the same went for her.

"Oh, yes, yes!" Lugh hoists his own pack, shrugging into easily, and starts trotting off, leaving Sijji to grab the glowing lantern-crystal and follow. "My, I haven't been about in a year or so, oh no, so it might be interesting to see what has changed, mmm, yes, yes indeed."

The moment Lugh started to move, Sijji followed, lantern in hand. "Change can be good..." the monk thought aloud. She smiled and shook her head.
"Then again, you'd know that better than most, ne?"

Lugh glanced back as he trotted ahead, brushing past stalactites and stalagmites with familiar ease. "Hmm? What was that, my dear?" Without even looking, he smoothly steps around a sinkhole, ducks a low-hanging stalactite, and turns to wait on Sijji.
Either he's really familiar with the area, or some of that power of his includes just a touch of omniscience....

"Hmm? Oh, nothing. Just thinking out loud." Sijji manuevered around the formations in the tunnel.
"Tis something I've a habit of, actually." The monk stepped around the sinkhole. Well, it was more liked hopped around the sinkhole, landing gracefully despite the extra weight. Thank the Goddess for my training... with how it looks under here, I doubt I'd be able to keep up...

"Ah, yes, I understand. Yes, yes. A habit easy to pick up, indeed, after long enough alone, mm, yes." Lugh smiles brightly and resumes trotting down the tunnel, every now and then pausing to brush at this or that with his fingers.
In his wake, small things happen; moss begins to grow from the contact point, flourishing instantly, grains of dust shimmer and become tiny mites that scurry about, streaks of rare metal glimmer into being in the walls...

Sijji smiled. There was just something strange with watching him create things. It was beautiful, but it was kind of creepy.
"At least it's nothing with wings..." she thought aloud. Funny she seemed to be doing that a lot. The monk shrugged it off as she followed Lugh.

The path continued this way for a time - Lugh shaping things from cold stone with just a touch, Sijji following along behind. Here and there, an extra spin of energy seems to be applied, and fantastic things - insects, lizards, beautiful fungal blooms - erupt from the stone.
Finally, however, the tunnel widens into a cavern, and Lugh draws to a halt.

Sijji tilted her head, eyebrow quirked. "Anything wrong?" She looked at the cavern a touch confused.

A single look at the cavern will show what happens to be 'wrong' - the entire width of the floor is split by a chasm broad enough that without wings, there's no real way to cross it. Lugh, however, doesn't seem too particularly worried by this obstacle as he begins to walk again, advancing to the very edge of the chasm, oblivious to the way the rock at the edge cracks under his weight, tumbling into the void.

Out of concern for his safety, Sijji grabbed Lugh's shoulder. "Wait!" She looked at him, worry lacing her eyes. Then she paused.
"Oh... sorry." She released him. "When I used to travel with others... they had a habit of doing something like walking off of a cliff and not paying attention. Sorry..."
She backed away. It would take her lots of time, appparently, to get used to him.
